Canyoning
Canyoning is a famous adventure sport in Dandeli. Canyoning in the Dandeli jungle can represent a spectrum of activities some of which are mostly rock activities and some of which are mostly water activities. Like Rappelling, this is also the controlled descent down a rock face using a rope; climbers use this technique when a cliff or slope is too steep or dangerous to descend without protection.
Preferably youngsters enjoy a lot and only adults can take part in this, it covers lot of risk while Canyoning. Personnel specialized in Canyoning shall guide the participants. The basic idea is to get down waterfalls and mountain streams using a combination of jumping, abseiling and natural water slides.

Jeep safari
Jeep safari is an exciting activity for the tourists and an opportunity to sight the extensive and exclusive wildlife in Dandeli sanctuary. Jungle Safari is a thrilling activity, which travel through the dense Dandeli forest and is one of the top things to do in Dandeli.
Dandeli jungle safaris are arranged in open-top jeeps to experience the lush green vegetation, rivers, the wild animals and birds. Jeep Safaris are conducted by the wildlife reserve authorities with professional wildlife guides. The jeep has seating arrangements for 8 persons per trip. The duration of safari is about 1 hour and timings are during early morning and afternoon. Safari covers about 10 km drive through forest and visitors have high chances to spot variety of wildlife.
Dandeli is a natural habitat for several wildlife animals. It is home to big cats such as tigers, leopards, and even black panthers, elephants, gaur, deer, antelopes, many kinds of reptiles and a rich variety of birds. Many of the animals would climb atop the cars, bringing them to a halt, and signs were posted along the route to warn visitors to keep their windows close.
Sanctuary entry tickets can be brought at Nature Interpretation Center, Kulgi which is situated about 13 km from Dandeli town.
